Apple Watch Series 6

This is the best possible smartwatch ever made on the market in terms of features and design. More importantly, If you have an iPhone and a MacBook, it fits quite nicely with notifications and unlocking the computer automatically with Watch. Product quality is superior to other watches I’ve used, it feels good on skin, easy to put the strap, and long sleeves slides better over it.

This 40mm Apple Watch 6 was a large upgrade technologically and I don’t regret the switch at all. The charge lasts for the entire day and takes about 1.5 hrs to charge before bed. Everything seems to work flawlessly so far. The display is vibrant and slick. Super useful for fitness activities and also seems to be very accurate. Plus the watch faces are relatively customizable and you able to set multiple and swipe between them.

The biggest cons are:

  • Battery: only lasts for about 24h.
  • Price. This is quite personal one, I recommend if you’re willing to spend a couple hundred of dollars on a device that integrates seamlessly with your phone, computer, TV; and/or keeps monitoring your hearth, especially people with arrhythmia and other alike conditions; and/or has a superior finishing. If not, there are some other cheaper options + specific devices to measure Oxygenation and ECG on-demand.

Fitbit Versa 3

So after dumping the GW3, I opted for the Versa 3 over the Sense as I don’t think the extra sensor is worth the premium for my use case. Still has built-in GPS which is great and everything I know and loves from fitbit. In spite of all the negative reviews for this watch I think it is amazing.

The display is bright and smooth, its comfortable, and there may be a tiny lag in the OS but its a FITBIT so honestly, it isn’t like it freezes constantly it is just a small infrequent hiccup. Which my $500 GS3 did as well. Most important, I dont need to keep a charger with me at all times as I can get a solid 5 days off of a charge +/- depending on GPS use etc.
